Richard is based in Lincolnshire, but his assignments have taken him throughout the East Midlands, UK and Europe. He is essentially a people photographer, although in the past he has worked as a freelance national press photographer, and continues to work on commercial assignments.

But people are his passion – whether that means covering an event such as a couple’s golden wedding anniversary, a baby’s first birthday, or a teenager’s makeover/photoshoot party, or a corporate affair, capturing people and the essence of their event is a challenge Richard always looks forward to.

On a more personal level, producing portraits for people to their own requirements, not his, means he can create lasting, fond memories for a family’s loved ones. Richard doesn’t prescribe the type of portrait a client should have. He covers the options available, including studio and life-style portraits, which could mean sessions take place in the home or a favourite location like a local park or woodlands. Richard will discuss all of this prior to the photo session, so that you can relax knowing that your wishes have been catered for.
